Refund & Cancellation Policy

Modern House Miami LLC ("Modern House Miami," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to providing exceptional consulting services, educational resources, and thoughtfully curated digital products.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and credits are handled for our products and services.

By purchasing any product or service from Modern House Miami, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. General Policy

Because many of our services involve personalized consulting, custom recommendations, digital content, and reserved appointment times, refund eligibility varies depending on the type of purchase.

This policy applies to:

  • Luxury Home Intelligence™ Consultations

  • Home Optimization Consultations

  • Floor Plan Reviews

  • Renovation Strategy Sessions

  • AI-Assisted Reports

  • Digital Products

  • Downloadable Guides

  • Templates

  • Checklists

  • Online Courses

  • Workshops

  • Memberships (if offered)

  • Gift Certificates

2. Consulting Services

Our consulting services are customized specifically for each client.

Once preparation for a consultation has begun, substantial professional time has already been invested.

Accordingly, consulting services are subject to the cancellation terms below.

3. Appointment Cancellations

Clients may cancel a scheduled consultation by providing written notice via email.

Cancellation fees are as follows:

More than 72 hours before the scheduled appointment

  • Full refund or full credit toward a future consultation.

Between 24 and 72 hours before the appointment

  • One complimentary rescheduling.

  • No refund.

  • Credit valid for six (6) months.

Less than 24 hours before the appointment

  • No refund.

  • Rescheduling is at the sole discretion of Modern House Miami.

4. No-Show Policy

If a client fails to attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice, the appointment will be considered a "No Show."

No-shows are non-refundable.

A new consultation must be purchased to schedule another appointment unless otherwise approved by Modern House Miami.

5. Late Arrivals

Clients are responsible for arriving on time for scheduled consultations.

If a client arrives late:

  • The consultation will still end at the originally scheduled time.

  • Additional time cannot be guaranteed.

  • Missed time due to late arrival is not refundable.

If Modern House Miami is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, every reasonable effort will be made to provide the full consultation time or mutually agree upon an alternative arrangement.

6. Virtual Consultation Requirements

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have:

  • A reliable internet connection

  • A functioning camera and microphone (if applicable)

  • Access to any required meeting platform

  • A quiet environment suitable for the consultation

Technical issues on the client's side generally do not qualify for refunds.

If technical issues arise on Modern House Miami's side that materially prevent the consultation from taking place, we will reschedule the appointment at no additional charge.

7. Custom Reports and Home Reviews

Once work has begun on any custom service, including but not limited to:

  • Luxury Home Intelligence™ Reports

  • Floor Plan Reviews

  • Home Optimization Reports

  • Renovation Assessments

  • Personalized Recommendations

  • AI-Assisted Reports

the purchase becomes non-refundable.

These services are customized specifically for each client and cannot be returned or resold.

8. Digital Products

Due to the immediate nature of digital delivery, all sales of digital products are final.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • eBooks

  • Digital Guides

  • Checklists

  • Templates

  • Worksheets

  • Downloads

  • Planning Documents

  • Design Resources

  • Home Planning Tools

  • AI Reports

  • Educational Materials

Once access has been granted or a download has been initiated, refunds will not be provided except where required by applicable law.

9. Online Courses and Educational Programs

If Modern House Miami offers online courses, workshops, or educational programs in the future, refunds will be handled as follows unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase:

  • Refund requests made within seven (7) days of purchase and before accessing more than 20% of the course content may be eligible for a refund.

  • Once substantial course content has been accessed, refunds will generally not be provided.

10. Memberships and Subscription Services

If memberships or subscription services are offered in the future:

  • Membership fees are billed in advance.

  • Cancellation prevents future renewals only.

  • Previously paid membership fees are generally non-refundable.

  • Access continues through the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise stated.

11. Gift Certificates

Gift certificates and promotional credits:

  • Are non-refundable.

  • May not be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

  • May not be resold without written permission.

  • Are subject to any expiration date stated at the time of purchase, where permitted by law.

12. Product Recommendations

Modern House Miami may recommend products sold by third-party retailers.

Returns, exchanges, warranties, shipping issues, product defects, and refund requests relating to those products are governed solely by the retailer's policies.

Modern House Miami is not responsible for third-party return or warranty decisions.

13. Affiliate Purchases

Purchases made through affiliate links are completed directly with the third-party retailer.

Any return, refund, exchange, warranty, or customer service request must be directed to that retailer.

Modern House Miami does not process refunds for products purchased through affiliate links.

14. Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same consultation or digital product more than once, please contact us promptly.

Verified duplicate purchases may be refunded or credited at our discretion.

15. Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can attempt to resolve any concerns.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of access to our services and may be pursued through available legal remedies.

16. Exceptional Circumstances

Modern House Miami understands that unexpected events may occur.

Requests for exceptions due to documented medical emergencies, natural disasters, or other extraordinary circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Approval of any exception remains solely at the discretion of Modern House Miami and does not create a precedent for future requests.

17. Company Cancellations

If Modern House Miami must cancel a consultation due to illness, emergency, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, clients may choose one of the following:

  • A full refund;

  • A full credit toward a future consultation; or

  • Rescheduling at a mutually convenient time.

18. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Where local laws provide mandatory refund or cancellation rights, those rights shall apply to the extent required.

19. Changes to This Policy

Modern House Miami reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.

Any updates will become effective upon posting the revised policy on our website.

The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
